We are seeking to fill the position of Business Support Assistant G4 (Finance), based in the WFP UNHRD Brindisi hub.

The United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) is a network of strategically located hubs in Brindisi, Accra, Dubai, Panama and Kuala Lumpur, established to support humanitarian organizations and the broader international community in responding to emergencies and crises. UNHRD provides essential services such as storage, easy access to critical supplies, and technical assistance. The position holder will work under the supervision of the Head of Finance in a team that provides support for all financial services to the entire UNHRD Network.
The incumbent will support the UNHRD Network Finance function and contribute to the effective management of accounts payable, customer billing, master data management, cash administration, and internal control activities.
Fluency (Level C) in English.
The World Food Programme offers a competitive compensation package, which will be determined based on the contract type and the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.

Brindisi salary scale: UN - Salary Scale
Applicants must: Be an Italian or other EU citizen, or hold a valid permit to live and work in Italy; and Live within commuting distance (100 km or approximately 1.5 hours of travel time) of the WFP UNHRD Brindisi Hub, or be willing to relocate at their own expense to an area within commuting distance of the duty station. Address: S.S. 16 San Vito dei Normanni Km 906.9, 72100 Brindisi BR, Italy.
WFP shall not be responsible for any costs associated with such relocation, nor shall it assist or otherwise be involved in obtaining residency status or legal work permits. Preference will be given to candidates residing within commuting distance of Brindisi, Italy.
