Responsibilities

• Establish automation goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
• Create automation roadmaps aligned with retail business priorities.
• Identify automation opportunities across applications and processes.
• Drive automation maturity across teams.
• Promote shift-left and continuous testing practices.
• Prepare automation test strategy and test plans.
• Estimate effort, resources, and execution timelines.
• Plan regression testing cycles.
• Prioritize automation based on business risk and ROI.
• Mentor and coach automation team members.
• Identify skill gaps and drive training programs.
• Track automation coverage and execution metrics.
• Monitor automation development progress.
• Resolve technical and project-level blockers.
• Ensure on-time delivery of automation assets.
• Drive execution readiness before releases.

Qualifications

• BE and MTech and at least have done Test Management of 2-3 automation projects.

Essential skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Test Management for Automation Project Stakeholder Management.
• Lead the evaluation, proof of concept, recommendation, and implementation of a new client test automation solution.
• Lead client discovery to understand automation objectives, workflows, constraints, users, maintenance expectations, evidence needs, and operating model.
• Define evaluation criteria and a consistent scoring model for candidate tools and architecture options.
• Design and lead focused proofs of concept using representative API and UI scenarios, success measures, and decision gates.
• Strong framework design, modularity, reusability, parameterization, maintainability, standards, and review practices.
• Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium, UFT, Cypress, or a comparable framework.
