Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and executing inorganic growth strategies and initiatives that support Mahindra Group’s growth and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential partners, acquisition targets, and collaboration opportunities in line with the group’s strategic plan.
• Market Research: Conduct detailed market research to outline key industry trends, competitive landscape, value drivers for the industry and emerging partnership opportunities.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess the attractiveness and return potential of opportunities-at-hand.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and businesses within the group, such as strategy, finance, operations, and legal, to ensure successful partnership execution.
• Report and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on the status and performance of partnerships and alliances.

Experience

3-4 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, fund-raising, financial due diligence or valuations. Preferred industry experience in a front-end investment banking/private equity role.

Industry Preferred Qualifications

CA or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field from a premier institute.

General Requirements

• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and ability to quickly comprehend and analyse company financials.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong writing & communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior professionals in an engagement team.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
