Project manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project delivery across Master Data Management Data Quality and Persistent Identifier initiatives from planning to execution and closure
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and progress tracking
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues using RAID logs
• Monitor project progress and resolve blockers to ensure successful delivery
• Lead project meetings, steering committees, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with dependent teams, technologies, and vendors to ensure smooth execution
• Manage and motivate cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and technical resources
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to gain support and alignment for project goals
• Handle vendor relationships, statements of work, and third-party service providers
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, risks, and reporting activities
• Support service transition and handover into operational support environments
• Ensure business requirements are captured effectively and aligned with project objectives
• Manage project scope changes, approvals, and communication across teams
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, quality processes, and best practices
• Support governance activities, decision reviews, and benefits realization
• Contribute to the development of project management best practices and capabilities

Essential Skills:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT Industry
• Bachelor degree in Business, Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
• Strong project and programme management skills
• Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies
• Strong problem solving and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of financial management and benefits tracking
• Experience leading cross-functional and diverse project teams
• Understanding of IT systems and business technology solutions
• Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and external partners

Desirable Qualifications:

• Project or Programme Management certification
• Experience working in global organizations with distributed teams
• Experience using Jira
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry processes and business operations
• Certification in SAFe or similar Agile frameworks
