Test Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager - Test to join our organization in Greater Noida, India. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of comprehensive testing initiatives while managing cross-functional teams and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with project objectives and quality standards. Manage testing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery. Coordinate and collaborate with development, quality assurance, and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Track, analyze, and report on defects, quality metrics, and testing progress to stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project status and testing outcomes. Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and optimize testing processes to maintain project schedule and quality objectives. Document test results, lessons learned, and recommendations for continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with testing standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in a testing, quality assurance, or software development environment, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
• Proven expertise in testing methodologies, frameworks, and industry best practices with demonstrated thought leadership
• Advanced proficiency with test management tools such as TestRail, JIRA, or Azure DevOps
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex priorities and large-scale initiatives
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with strong executive-level stakeholder management experience
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with strategic thinking and attention to detail
• Extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies in large team environments
• Strong background in automation testing frameworks, tools, and CI/CD pipeline integration
• Demonstrated expertise in specialized testing domains such as performance testing, security testing, or enterprise-level testing solutions
• Proven experience with DevOps practices and modern software delivery methodologies
• Experience leading and mentoring testing teams, building high-performing organizations
• Budget management and resource planning experience for large testing initiatives
• Project management or testing certification (PMP, CAPM, or ISTQB); additional certifications in advanced project management or testing leadership are preferred
