About this Role

We are seeking an Oracle GoldenGate Specialist to join the BIBDA team within Technology, based at EON, Pune. The role is focused on developing and integrating new data sources using Oracle GoldenGate, configuring GoldenGate environments from scratch and implementing data-quality checks following integration. You will also contribute to infrastructure setup for high availability (HA) and migration activities from Berlin to Ratingen. This role requires 4–8 years of relevant experience, strong Oracle GoldenGate knowledge and the ability to independently analyse problems and make sound technical judgements while working to agreed deadlines.

What you’ll do

• Develop and integrate new data sources using Oracle GoldenGate, including configuring and setting up GoldenGate environments from scratch.
• Implement data-quality checks following the integration of new data sources, supporting accurate and reliable data delivery.
• Contribute to Berlin-to-Ratingen migration activities and infrastructure configuration, including high-availability setup.
• Take accountability for end-to-end testing within scope and contribute to quality processes supporting service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, effort optimisation, resource optimisation, process adoption and tooling improvements to increase delivery efficiency and quality.
• Support both GoldenGate development and operational activities, working closely with stakeholders supporting the Greece environment.
• Plan and organise work effectively, prioritising activities to meet agreed deadlines.

Who you are

You have 4–8 years of relevant professional experience, with strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate and experience working across development and operational activities. You have knowledge of Oracle SQL (11g or 12c), Oracle databases and other database technologies, alongside strong data interpretation, manipulation and analysis skills. You have experience or knowledge of Oracle Veridata, Linux, Oracle GoldenGate for Kafka, GCP and cloud technologies. You are a detail-conscious problem solver who can independently analyse technical challenges, develop appropriate solutions and work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. You can plan and organise work to meet agreed commitments and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
