Manager – Indirect Sourcing (Buy Desk Operations)

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager will lead Buy Desk operations supporting global stakeholders, manage a team of analysts, drive P2P process excellence, and ensure achievement of service delivery, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Buy Desk Analysts and Senior Analysts
• Own day-to-day Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations
• Manage stakeholder relationships and escalations
• Drive SLA, KPI, productivity, quality, and compliance performance
• Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives
• Support supplier onboarding, PO lifecycle management, and issue resolution
• Partner with Sourcing, Finance, AP, and Business teams globally
• Provide operational reporting, governance, and business insights
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and controls
• Support global transformations, migrations, and process standardization efforts

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• 10–15 years of procurement, shared services, or P2P operations experience
• Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Indirect Procurement operations
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, JDE, HICX or similar ERP platforms
• Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification
• Experience in global shared services or CoE environments

Working Conditions

Support US time zone – 5:30PM IST – 2:30AM IST. Global coordination, standard business hours, high-volume transactional environment.
