Head of Department – English (Pre-Primary)

We are seeking an accomplished educational leader to serve as the Head of Department for English at our Pre-Primary campus in Tellapur, Hyderabad. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will oversee curriculum development, instructional quality, and faculty management to ensure a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This position is critical for establishing a strong foundation in early literacy and fostering a culture of excellence in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Pre-Primary English teaching team, providing professional development and performance guidance.
• Design and implement engaging, play-based learning strategies that align with early childhood development principles.
• Monitor student progress in literacy and language acquisition, adjusting instructional methods as needed.
• Drive organizational change initiatives to enhance teaching standards and operational efficiency.
• Cultivate a collaborative school culture through effective team building and open communication channels.
• Ensure all educational practices adhere to established pedagogical standards and child psychology guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor of Arts degree in English or a related discipline; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Bring 10 to 12 years of total professional experience, including a minimum of five years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrate profound expertise in early literacy frameworks, child psychology, and play-based educational methodologies.
• Exhibit exceptional communication abilities alongside a proven track record in change management and team leadership.
• Hold a strong commitment to the holistic development of young learners.
