L6 position - mdt chassis production

To lead and manage the truck chassis assembly conveyor line by ensuring achievement of SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) targets through effective production management, workforce leadership, continuous improvement initiatives, and strong industrial relations. The role is responsible for maintaining operational excellence, driving productivity, and fostering a high-performance culture while effectively managing unionized workforces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead truck chassis assembly conveyor line operations and achieve SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Morale) targets.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM initiatives.
• Lead and develop supervisors, team leaders, and operators to build a high-performance culture.
• Manage industrial relations and effectively handle a unionized workforce, employee grievances, and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, A3, PDCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, TQM and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

BE /B.Tech - Mechanical / Automobile / Mechatronics

Experience: 5- 7 years in operations
