UI Path, RPA – Senior Associate - Fund Services

We’re seeking someone to join our team as Associate/Senior Associate who will Design, Develop, Test & Deploy the process automations using RPA tools like UiPath, Alteryx, Power BI & other surface automation toolkits available at Morgan Stanley.

The Product Development team is the engine at the heart of our MSFS technology ecosystem, ensuring our platforms perform seamlessly for clients and colleagues every day while leading transformative changes across our business. Through the team’s deep partnership with our Technology department, they are reimagining how we work and how clients and their investors engage with MSFS. This team enables breakthrough innovation and an elevated user experience. Product Development is also at the forefront of adopting advanced technologies, including robotics and artificial intelligence, to deliver greater scale, efficiency, and operational excellence for MSFS and its stakeholders.

The current opening is for the Client Computing Solutions (CCS) Team which is part of Product Development function. The CCS Team develops tools to resolve complex business problems that are overwhelming and error-prone if handled manually by front-line colleagues. Complexity is often found in areas such as investor services, investor allocation, regulatory reporting, capital activities and trade transaction management. The Team is comprised of colleagues who have had solid technical education and have studied finance and accounting as the chosen field to apply the skills. The CCS Team tends to focus on very complex, specific and urgent circumstances, and the solutions tend to be highly customized for the clients concerned, and rapid turnaround is usually a requirement.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Liaise with executive management & business users across locations to understand/ document business requirements in PDD.
• Propose solution options for automation using appropriate tool from the toolkit.
• Design solutions for Attended / unattended Bots which are flexible to incorporate changes and are scalable.
• Design, Develop, Test & Deploy the process automations using RPA tools like UiPath, Alteryx, Power BI & other surface automation toolkits available at Morgan Stanley.
• Work with multiple stakeholders for prioritisation and tracking of requirements.
• Call out risks & issues proactively, report progress against the plan & track associated project benefits.
• Ability to wear multiple hats including but not limited to Business Analyst, Developer, Project Manager, Tester & Business User playing an Individual Contributor role.
• Monitors and measures the effectiveness of the digital robots and creates reports on impact of the robotic solution.
• Ensures that RPA processes are designed in accordance with standard RPA design principles and conventions.

What you'll bring to the role:

• MBA/ B Tech/ MCA/ M Tech with relevant work experience in finance industry.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience with software development and RPA UiPath.
• In-depth knowledge of RPA Life Cycle, UiPath REFramework, Orchestrator, Studio, StudioX, Task Capture, Workflow Analyzer, Custom Activities, Document understanding, AI fabric etc.
• Understands data structures and follows coding best practices, e.g. naming conventions, error handling, logging, and commenting.
• Demonstrated experience in all phases of the RPA life cycle - requirements capture, definition & solution design, architecture design, build, configuration, testing and operational transition.
• Familiarity with RPA best practices such as PDD/ SDD, Unit Test Cases, Code Quality, Development Standards etc.
• Comfortable with Microsoft office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Share point, Access.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to take ownership & effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and confidently across all levels.
• Ability to handle pressure, effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks with high level of accuracy.
• A good team player.

Qualifications Nice-to-have:

• UiPath Advance Developer Certification.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence use cases for Banking/ Finance industry.
• Working knowledge of industry recognized automation toolkits like Xceptor, Alteryx, Tableau.
• Working knowledge of Data Analytics & ability to use data analytic tools for decision making.
