Job Description

Landscape Architect Responsibilities & Duties

Conduct site assessments and analysis to determine project feasibility and potential environmental impact
Develop landscape plans, including grading and drainage plans, planting plans, and hardscape design
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet their needs and requirements
Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and construction documents
Supervise construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Maintain project records, including contracts, invoices, and project schedules

Landscape Architect Qualifications & Skills

Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
Professional license as a Landscape Architect.
Experience with 3D modeling software and geographic information systems (GIS).
Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful projects.
Membership in professional organizations such as the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
Licensed Landscape Architect with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Passion for sustainability and environmentally conscious design practice
