Global end-to-end onboarding operations support lead

Within Group People & Culture, we are establishing a global End-to-End Onboarding Competence and Support Center to create a connected, intuitive, and scalable experience for new colleagues, hiring managers, and P&C teams. Join us to help countries operate and continuously improve onboarding across Volvo Group.

What you will do

Based in India, you will lead the operational support, monitoring, coordination, and continuous stabilization of global onboarding, from preboarding through the subsequent onboarding journey. You will report functionally to the Global Head of People Operations & Experience.

• Provide practical functional support to country P&C teams, hiring managers, and other users; investigate issues, coordinate resolution, and maintain clear escalation paths.
• Maintain onboarding journeys, task libraries, templates, guidance, knowledge articles, and country-specific content within the agreed governance model.
• Monitor adoption, outstanding activities, data quality, recurring issues, and service indicators; turn operational data into clear insights and follow-up actions.
• Support country readiness, testing, training, rollout, and hypercare, working closely with the Global Process & Deployment Lead and local P&C Solution teams.
• Coordinate functional readiness for releases and ensure documentation, communications, and operational support are updated before changes go live.
• Use feedback and service data to identify root causes and propose improvements to processes, journeys, configuration, documentation, and user support.
• Connect countries with the Global Center team in Poland, Stable Teams, Product Owners, P&C Digitalization, and HR technology teams.
• Simplify recurring work before automating it and explore responsible AI and self-service opportunities that improve user experience and service performance.

Who are you?

You combine a strong service mindset with operational discipline and curiosity about how work can be improved. You manage details without losing sight of the complete onboarding journey, follow issues through to resolution, and communicate clearly across countries, functions, and technology teams.

You bring:

• Relevant experience in People Operations, shared services, employee lifecycle support, or a related field.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country processes, users, and stakeholders.
• Strong service-management skills, including issue investigation, resolution coordination, escalation, and operational follow-up.
• Experience maintaining process documentation, knowledge content, user guidance, or country-specific information.
• The ability to monitor operational performance and translate data, feedback, and recurring cases into actionable improvements.
• Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills in a global matrix environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience with SuccessFactors Onboarding or Preboarding, case management, release coordination, journey mapping, Agile delivery, automation, analytics, or AI is an advantage.
