Key Competencies

Demonstrable experience in the following areas:

• Drainage Engineering & Design
• Highway Drainage
• Design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS)
• Hydraulic Design and Modelling
• Preparation of Drainage Strategies
• Knowledge of UK / Middle East/ International design codes and legislation

Missions/Main Duties

Working knowledge of Design software such as:

• HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS - At least 5 years of mandatory working experience in hydrology required.
• Autodesk Civil 3D – At least 5 years of mandatory experience in 3D modelling of ponds, ditches and drainage networks.
• Micro Drainage, Info drainage, SewerGEMS or similar software packages. A proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel is also expected.
• Basic knowledge of drawing production in AutoCAD.

Profile/Skills

Qualifications

You will have a bachelor’s or post graduate degree in Civil Engineering with 8-10 years working experience.

Post-graduate experience with a consultancy or developer.

Working towards a recognized professional qualification.

Mandatory Skills

HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8, Civil 3D, SuDS, Storm Water Drainage, Drainage, Micro Drainage Software, communication skills, AutoCAD, excel.
