TERADYNE, where experience meets innovation and driving excellence in every connection. We are fueled by creativity and diversity of thought and in our workforce. Our employees are supported to innovate and learn something new every day. We cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths, views, and experiences. We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team – one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.
Universal Robots, part of Teradyne Robotics, is the world market leader in collaborative robots (cobots), making products that empower our customers and positively transform the way they work. Teradyne Robotics is a division of Teradyne and includes Universal Robots and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR). Our global R&D organization of 200+ engineers builds the software and systems behind every cobot we ship.
You will work alongside a team of talented and passionate engineers developing, testing, and optimizing the software and systems that let us simulate our robot platforms and the environments they work in.
As a 3D / PCG Artist supporting the Simulation team through a third-party partner, you will create the simulation-ready assets and procedural environments in which UR cobots and MiR mobile robots are tested and trained. Every asset must look real, be built to real-world scale, and behave correctly in physics simulation, because the quality of our virtual factories, warehouses, and labs directly shapes the quality of the synthetic data and validation results built on them.
This is a hands-on creative and technical role. You will use modelling, texturing, and procedural tools to build large, varied asset libraries and environments, and you will work closely with simulation engineers, dataset engineers, and QA in Bangalore to meet agreed specifications, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines.
We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Our commitment to customer success drives us to go the extra mile. If you're ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the engagement.
We value diversity in culture, competence, and experience. We expect you to bring a number of skills to be considered for this engagement.
Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability. Reliability, ownership of deliverables, and clear communication with engineering teams are vital. A pragmatic approach, openness to feedback, commitment to continuous learning, and dedication to work quality are expected.
Through this engagement, you will contribute to cutting-edge robotics simulation at Universal Robots, working alongside skilled and talented engineers from around the world.
This is a third-party / contract engagement through a Teradyne partner and is not a direct employment position with Teradyne. Engagement terms, including IP and confidentiality agreements, are set by the partner agreement.
This engagement is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation.
