Automation & Robotics Engineer (Connectivity) 8 –9 YEARS · 1 FTE · BANGALORE

• Integrates and connects industrial machines, equipment and IoT devices — OPC-UA, MQTT, Kepware, OPC Router, Node-RED
• Deploys the Unified Namespace (UNS) stack — HiveMQ, Sparkplug, HighByte — and configures industrial data flows
• Manages real-time and batch data collection for production monitoring
• Designs and deploys supervision dashboards (Grafana, Ignition) for equipment and factory performance
• Supports operator training and troubleshooting of connected assets

Domain: Shopfloor automation, machine integration, SCADA / HMI, manufacturing execution.

• Prioritize real shopfloor / PLC / SCADA time over pure IT — this role lives on the floor.
• Core stack: OPC UA + MQTT + Kepware / Ignition; probe depth on at least two of these.
• Ask them to explain a UNS, or how they'd normalize data from three different machine brands.
• Lower grade (GG2.2) so slightly less experience is fine — hands-on connectivity is non-negotiable.
