Our purpose is design for the good of humankind. It’s the ideal we strive toward each day in everything we do. Being a part of MillerKnoll means being a part of something larger than your work team, or even your brand. We are redefining modern for the 21st century. We are seeking an Associate Lead - Technical Design to lead a team of Technical Designers responsible for creating and maintaining design assets across multiple digital platforms. This is an entry-level leadership position that combines hands-on technical production with team coordination and coaching responsibilities. The Associate Lead - Technical Design serves as the team's primary technical resource, translating finalized furniture layouts and planning concepts into design files supporting AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Working from existing CET Designer drawings and established design documentation, this role ensures technical assets accurately represent design intent, planning requirements, and current product specifications.
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
5-7 years of experience in technical design, commercial interiors, workplace solutions, contract furniture, architecture, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience creating technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Experience working within the contract furniture industry preferred.
Prior experience leading projects, following established standards, or providing technical leadership preferred.
