The Finance Division provides comprehensive financial management, reporting, and control functions across Nomura's global operations. The PE Controller team manages Personnel Expenses, which account for approximately 50% of Nomura's overall costs. The team comprises 5 FTE onshore and 8 FTE in Powai, responsible for journal posting, data cleansing, bonus accruals, deferrals processing (RSU/DCA/NSU), headcount reporting, Kenmu allocations, PE forecasting, and budget. The team is currently undertaking a significant automation project to transform PE controller processes while maintaining business-as-usual operations.

The Analyst will support the PE Controller team in executing day-to-day operations and maintaining business as usual activities. This role is critical to ensuring continuity of PE controller processes including data cleansing, bonus accruals, deferrals processing, headcount reporting, and reconciliations. The successful candidate will work with multiple data sources, perform data validation and support the preparation of materials for senior management and reporting.
