As a Wireless/RF V&V Engineer here at Smart Energy, Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the verification and validation of advanced wireless/RF systems and IOT products. Your expertise will ensure that Honeywell remains at the forefront of technological advancements in this field. You will be responsible for system-level analysis and optimization, enabling the testing of cutting-edge wireless products that meet the needs of our customers & standards.

In this role, you will impact the advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and connected products, enabling smarter and more efficient metering solutions. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the organization and its customers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• End to End testing of wireless communication-based IOT product
• Hands on experience with network simulator for 4G/5G and knowledge on 3GPP
• Implementation of real network scenario-based test ecosystem
• Experience on Real filed environment and it’s impact on network quality (Ex- impact of weather, installation depth, Cell tower distance etc)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize wireless communication capabilities
• Conduct system-level analysis and optimization
• Stay updated with the latest wireless technologies and industry trends
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team

QUALIFICATIONS

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Electrical, Electronics, communications
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in wireless/RF engineering
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and RF design principles
• Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools
• Experience with wireless protocols such as NBIOT, LoRa, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
