About the role

Join the Electro-Bio-Medical Engineering (EBME) team at Nobles Hospital and play an important role in keeping a diverse range of medical equipment safe, reliable and ready for use. Working across healthcare facilities, you'll carry out inspections, repairs, testing and planned maintenance on equipment ranging from patient beds and pressure-relieving devices to respiratory and oxygen equipment, helping to support the delivery of essential healthcare services across the Island.

We're looking for a motivated individual with a background in an electrical, electronic or mechanical discipline who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term technical career, with a structured development pathway that includes continued professional development, vocational training and on-the-job learning. As part of a small, dedicated team, you'll work independently as well as alongside colleagues, taking ownership of tasks both within the hospital and across a range of sites while developing the skills needed to progress to EBME Technician and Senior EBME Technician levels.

Things to note

A standard police check is required for this post, the cost of which will be covered by the Isle of Man Government. Please note a relocation package is not available for this role.
