Geologist

Experienced Geologist with expected expertise and capabilities including the below:

• analyse the geology of the area, building stratigraphic column, sedimentology analysis, and generate GDE.
• analyse the structural features and build the structural restoration model to be used in Petroleum System Modeling.
• geological process modeling and analysis.
• integrate and analyse the results from laboratory of source rock or hydrocarbon lab test (GCMS)
• able to integrate all information needed to build petroleum system model 1D, 2D, 3D.
• able to generate a play to prospect analysis and economic evaluation
• Conduct sedimentological, stratigraphic, and basin analysis studies using core, cuttings, outcrops, seismic, and well log data.
• Interpret depositional environments and sedimentary systems, including fluvial, deltaic, lacustrine, shallow marine, deepwater, and carbonate settings
• Develop facies models, depositional frameworks, and sequence stratigraphic interpretations to support basin and reservoir understanding
• Integrate geological, petrophysical, seismic, and biostratigraphic data for subsurface characterization and modeling
• Evaluate reservoir distribution, quality, connectivity, and heterogeneity to support exploration, appraisal, and field development activities
• Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations, and provide recommendations on reservoir characterization and well placement while collaborating with multidisciplinary subsurface teams
