Job Description

Deliver onboarding experiences that build lasting client trust—owning complex implementations end-to-end, improving how work gets done, and raising the bar on speed, accuracy, and controls. You’ll lead treasury and banking product implementations for clients transitioning to the Chase banking platform, while helping reduce friction, automate where appropriate, and elevate human work through proactive, consultative support.

As a Client Onboarding Associate in Client Onboarding & Service (COS), you will lead and manage complex treasury product implementation processes for new and existing clients moving to the JP Morgan Chase banking platform. You’ll bring deeper onboarding project management expertise to solve higher-complexity issues, influence across partners, and strengthen disciplined execution and controls. You will also be expected to deliver outcomes using Curiosity, Ownership, and Sense of Urgency (the C.O.S. Effect)—anticipating client needs, driving follow-through, communicating clearly, and escalating risks/control gaps promptly.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead complex treasury and banking product implementations to support client transitions to the JP Morgan Chase banking platform
  • Own end-to-end onboarding delivery as a primary point of contact, aligning early on expected outcomes and what successful resolution looks like, and driving actions to completion through clear, timely communication
  • Analyze and resolve higher-complexity onboarding issues while meeting technical standards, policies, and controls, and escalate risks/control gaps promptly and appropriately
  • Influence stakeholders and apply emotional intelligence to manage conflict, foster collaboration, and build trust across teams and with clients
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, design thinking, and root-cause problem solving to streamline workflows, reduce handoffs, and enhance efficiency and resilience
  • Champion digital onboarding and client self-service adoption by partnering across teams to simplify steps, improve transparency, and reduce manual work
  • Use data and reporting to prioritize work, communicate progress, and improve onboarding and service outcomes
  • Plan and organize day-to-day work, providing guidance to support consistent delivery within established procedures and organizational policy

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience managing and executing strategic initiatives in a professional setting
  • Proven ability to lead client onboarding processes, including transitions to new banking platforms
  • Experience in Transaction Banking or Trade Finance product will be added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and resolve complex issues within defined standards and policies
  • Demonstrated conflict management skills, with experience fostering collaboration and trust
  • Experience driving continuous improvement using innovation and/or design thinking approaches
  • Data and technology literacy, with willingness to learn and implement new or emerging technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills-proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong presentation skills to communicate onboarding procedures and updates to clients and stakeholders
  • Project management discipline to deliver onboarding activities on time and with quality
  • Anti-fraud awareness applied to onboarding activities and client interactions
  • Ability to build digital literacy within a team and drive adoption of digital tools
  • Understanding of cybersecurity practices to help protect client data during onboarding
  • Comfort using AI-enabled tools and workflow enhancements to improve accuracy, speed, and consistency in delivery
