Assistant r&d manager

Our client is a watch Trading and Manufacturing Company.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the R&D team to ensure product development & production schedule on time;
• Define product specification and dummy / technical samples making and approval;
• Deed with the engineering team of the developing product;
• Collaborate with designing team of the developing new product;
• Liaising and negotiating with supplier to ensure the quality and minimize the costing;
• Frequency travel or stay few days in China.

Requirements:

• Form 5, diploma or above;
• Minimum 7 years manufacturing and engineer experience in watch field for Engineer;
• Much experience at management level;
• Solid experience in development and sourcing;
• Knowledge of MS office and engineering software: Autocad etc;
• Ability to work independently with least supervision;
• Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese, proficient in English and Mandarin;
• Strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded, well-organized and be a good team player;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good time-management, self-motivated, willing to learn, mature and able to work independently and under pressure;
• Immediate available is highly preferable.
