Assistant laboratory supervisor (microbiology)

Our client is a Food Manufacturer, Distributor and Retailer for high quality dried and frozen food.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a microbiology laboratory according to ISO 17025 requirement.
• Develop and conduct new experiments to meet customer's requirements.
• Plan and source equipment and consumables related to the laboratory operation.
• Train subordinates in microbiology testing.
• Develop / Control / Review technical documents such as SOP, other working procedures.
• Handle Technical Governance Issue.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Applied Biology / Microbiology or other related disciplines.
• Over 4-5 years relevant experience in laboratory management and food chemistry testing.
• Experience in commercial laboratory is preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 17025; HOKLAS approved signatory is an advantage.
