Job Description

About the Role

At ZEUS Hotels & Resorts, we are looking for an organized, commercially aware and service-minded Assistant Events & Sales Manager to support the planning, sales coordination and successful delivery of memorable events.

Working closely with the Events & Sales Manager, you will help turn client enquiries into successful bookings while coordinating corporate meetings, banquets, conferences and celebrations to the highest hospitality standards.

Life Inside the Hotel Group

One day you may be coordinating event schedules, confirming room setups and briefing hotel teams; the next, welcoming clients on a site inspection or overseeing the final details before an important function begins.

You will be a key link between clients, the Sales team and hotel departments, helping ensure a smooth experience from initial enquiry and proposal through to event completion.

What You’ll Do

Event Coordination & Operations

  • Support the Events & Sales Manager in planning, organizing and delivering banquets, meetings, conferences and private events.
  • Coordinate event requirements with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and external partners.
  • Prepare and update event schedules, function sheets, setup checklists and operational briefs, ensuring accurate communication across teams.
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of assigned events or event activities, under the Events & Sales Manager’s guidance, ensuring venue readiness and smooth execution.
  • Act as an on-site contact for clients and guests, responding promptly to requests and escalating complex matters when needed.
  • Assist with banquet team coordination and ensure compliance with service, health and safety standards.

Sales & Client Support

  • Handle initial client enquiries and assist in preparing tailored event proposals, quotations and booking confirmations in line with approved commercial terms.
  • Participate in site inspections, venue tours and client meetings, presenting event options and identifying appropriate upselling opportunities.
  • Follow up on quotations and pending enquiries, maintain accurate client and booking records, and coordinate agreed arrangements with hotel teams.
  • Support sales pipeline and event performance reporting, collect post-event feedback and help generate repeat business.

Your Uniqueness Is Welcome

We believe exceptional events are created by people who care about the details and enjoy working together. If you bring energy, organization, a genuine hospitality mindset and a calm approach to busy days, we would love to meet you.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has hands-on experience in hotel events, banqueting or event coordination, preferably with exposure to event sales and client enquiries; supervisory experience is an advantage.
  • Holds a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Communicates confidently with clients, guests, colleagues and suppliers, with a proactive approach to commercial follow-up.
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office; familiarity with hotel or event management systems is an advantage.
  • Has a positive, flexible and solution-oriented attitude, including availability to work during events when required.
  • Has a good command of Greek and English.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth within the Group.
  • A dynamic, collaborative and supportive working environment.
  • Accommodation for resort-based positions and meals provided, where applicable.
