Our Marketing Data Platform is enabling our Marketing programs: Market reach productivity, Digital Sales & Customer experience through Omnichannel and AI acceleration. This Data Platform team is part of the Analytics Center of Excellence of Strategic Marketing division and plays a key role in unlocking the value of our data.

We are looking for a Tribe lead Platform & Architecture to contribute to the infrastructure foundation of our data platform.

What Does the Role Involve?

• Platform coordination: Contribute to the technical infrastructure of the Data Platform, applying an Infrastructure-as-a-Service mindset that enables data scrum teams to deliver measurable business impact.
• Autonomy and productivity enablement: Expand self-service capabilities and promote AI-native ways of working to increase scrum team autonomy, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Leadership: For HDMS: As tribe lead, you drive a tribe of Architects, Devops, Dataops, Consultant. You will hire, mentor and develop them. You coach and mentor employees outside of HDMS.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform architecture and operations: Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of platform services within the Data Platform environments, including coordination of infrastructure delivery activities, monitoring, cost-management practices, and security-related activities in alignment with approved standards and ISO 27001 requirements.
• Service enablement: Provide reliable, reusable capabilities across: Support Cloud services: AWS, Microsoft Fabric, and Google Cloud Platform. Support development services and tooling. Support infrastructure services, including Terraform. Support data services, including quality assurance, observability, data pipelines, and the data marketplace. Support AI services, including retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge bases, and AI-powered insight assistants.
• Standards and design authority: Contribute to the development, documentation, and promotion of Data Platform technical standards and architectural guidelines. Provide technical recommendations and support consistency and automation initiatives across Data Science, Insights, and Web Analytics use cases.
• Enterprise architecture collaboration: Represent the platform in Hilti’s architecture forums and contribute to enterprise-wide technology decisions.
• Innovation and productivity: Support productivity-enhancing innovation, including AI-native ways of working, in collaboration with the AI Accelerator.
• Local Leadership for HDMS: Recruit and onboard team members. Set goals and evaluate their completeness. Develop your tribe members. Have regular touchpoint with your tribe members in 1:1 and with all the tribe.

• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience either as Solution Architect exposed to data environment (Ingestion, Storage, Compute, …)
• Strong ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions in data and marketing landscape
• Comprehensive understanding of the full lifecycle of data and AI solutions—from ideation, data modeling, data Science to operational deployment, change management, and success measurement
• Fluent in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with tools like JIRA, Confluence, ….
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
