Job Description

At STMicroelectronics, we believe in the power of technology to drive innovation and make a positive impact on people, businesses, and society. As a global semiconductor company, our advanced technologies and chips form the hidden foundation of the world we live in today.

When you join ST, you will be part of a global business with more than 115 nationalities, present in 40 countries, and comprising over 50,000 diverse and dedicated creators and makers of technology around the world.

Developing technologies takes more than talent: it takes amazing people who understand collaboration and respect. People with passion and the desire to disrupt the status quo, drive innovation, and unlock their own potential.

Embark on a journey with us, where you can innovate for a future that we want to make smarter and greener, in a responsible and sustainable way. Our technology starts with you.

YOUR ROLE

You will join the Finance team of STMicroelectronics’ RF & Optical Communication (RFOC) Sub-Group. As part of a team of six finance professionals, closely working together with the Group and Corporate Finance teams, you will support one of the RFOC Divisions and work closely with its management and cross-functional teams.

As the Division Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Partner with the Sub-Group and Divisional management to actively contribute to the strategy, translate business priorities into financial objectives, secure the financial target achievements, provide a clear view of performance and focus on value creation.
  • Lead short-, mid- and long-term forecasting, planning cycles, assess scenarios, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Drive the P&L, with particular focus on sustainable sales growth, best-in-class gross margins, resource allocations and tight control in line with business priorities to leverage the operating margin.
  • Prepare and evaluate business cases for new products, customer opportunities, and investments to support informed decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Turn financial and business data into forward-looking insights and recommendations that support decision-making and profitable growth.
  • Collaborate across an international, multi-stakeholder environment with engineering, marketing, project management, sales, operations, HR, planning and finance teams.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Master’s degree in finance (Economics, Business Administration). A dual degree combining Finance and Engineering would be an asset.

At least five years of experience in global business finance, manufacturing controlling, or a comparable finance role.

Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to understand business drivers, connect financial and operational perspectives, and turn complex information into clear recommendations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a natural team player with the confidence to influence stakeholders and challenge constructively through fact-based analysis.

A proactive, agile, and adaptable mindset, with pronounced sense of ownership, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative approach.

Professional English proficiency and strong command of Excel and IT tools.

Location: The position is based at STMicroelectronics' Grenoble site, within the Grenoble Scientific Polygon, one of Europe's leading innovation and research hubs.
