Chief mechanical engineer

Manage mechanical equipment delivery packages (design, schedule and costs) in customer project(s) under customer project management supervision within their project organisation. Role is highly independent and candidate needs to be proactive and excellent in communication with project stakeholders is crucial to be successful in the position. Role requires local presence in Espoo office in customer project task force space. Needs for occasional travelling is time to time needed in manufacturing shops or customer site.

Build and execute Technology Roadmap in alignment with organization Strategy. Should be knowledgeable & able to represent organization at external forums for one of the mega trends/major strategic area. Thought leadership in a domain or respective area to provide consulting offerings to our customers and internal experts.

Create and execute Technology Roadmap. Identify gaps/opportunities in industry solutions, build business case for solution development including technology, financials and market size. Identify and lead partnerships with Tech. Partners. Work closely on Key customers on relationship & growth.

For the approved programs, deliver MVP/PoCs and work with sales to take solutions to market to monetize investments and to generate new revenue stream. Develop & groom Principal engineers/Solution Architects/Technical expertise in the organization and build digital mindset. Participate & drive, Organization positioning & thought leadership.
