As a Digital Manufacturing Product Owner / Serialization, you’ll bring your skill, your curiosity and your drive to make health simpler, smarter and more human.

About the job:

Own the end-to-end direction, lifecycle, compliance and performance of Opella’s global Serialization and Traceability ecosystem. You will connect manufacturing sites, external manufacturing partners, affiliates, distribution partners and health authorities, safeguarding business continuity while modernizing critical digital products that help protect patients and products worldwide.

  • Mentor and uplift emerging talent while pushing your own growth and influence.
  • Put purpose into practice — embedding sustainability, access and social impact into every decision.
  • Model the challenger mindset: question complexity, act with integrity and make things radically simple.
  • Help shape a culture that’s ambitious, collaborative and serious about recognition and belonging.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Set and maintain the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for serialization, traceability, anti-counterfeiting and regulatory reporting platforms.
  • Guide the evolution and modernization of the serialization ecosystem, including the transition to an independent cloud-based platform.
  • Ensure reliable, compliant and audit-ready operation of business-critical systems across manufacturing, supply and partner networks.
  • Prioritize regulatory needs, product enhancements, technical debt and investments by balancing business value, continuity, compliance and cost.
  • Oversee service performance, major incidents, change and release activities, business continuity, key performance indicators and supplier commitments.
  • Partner with manufacturing sites, external manufacturers, affiliates, distribution partners, health authorities and digital teams to improve processes and data exchanges.

About you:

  • Experience: Experience in digital manufacturing, serialization, traceability or a comparable product ownership environment within a regulated industry.
  • Capabilities: Ability to manage digital products, stakeholders and external suppliers, including defining priorities, maintaining product roadmaps and translating business needs into product requirements.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of serialization, traceability or manufacturing digital ecosystems, or experience working with comparable business-critical technology platforms.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across functions and contribute to problem-solving in an international environment.
  • Education: Relevant knowledge gained through education, professional experience or an equivalent learning pathway in technology, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, business or a related area.
  • Languages: Ability to work and communicate in English with international colleagues and stakeholders.
