At Eni, we are seeking a Chef Service Administration du Personnel to join Eni Algeria in Algiers. You will be responsible for ensuring the administrative management and development of Human Resources in compliance with Algerian labour legislation, Eni Group policies and procedures, and the company's internal policies. You will also oversee the effective management of local and expatriate employees, workforce planning, skills development, and business travel arrangements.

Main responsibilities

  • Personnel Administration: Manage all aspects of personnel administration for local and expatriate employees, ensuring compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
  • Expatriate Management: Oversee expatriate administration, including visas, work permits, residency requirements, and related employee support.
  • Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Support workforce planning, recruitment activities, and the onboarding of new employees.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate training programmes and initiatives to support employee development and organisational capability.
  • Travel Management: Supervise business travel arrangements and ensure compliance with travel policies and approved budgets.
  • Policies, Procedures & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies, legal requirements, and internal procedures while maintaining effective relationships with relevant authorities.
  • Reporting & Management Support: Prepare HR reports, monitor key workforce metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Skills and experience required

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Law, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources management, ideally including team supervision or coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of Algerian labour legislation and HR administration practices.
  • Experience in workforce planning, recruitment, training, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing expatriate employees, immigration processes, and business travel arrangements is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams and stakeholders.
  • Diplomatic approach and ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.
  • Proactive mindset, sound judgement, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in French and English.
