Job Description

As an engineer or technician in the field of electrical building equipment, you contribute to making buildings sustainable, energy-efficient, and future-proof. With your expertise, you support clients, architects, specialist planners, and other project participants in developing innovative electrical solutions for new buildings and existing structures. Your work is diverse and varied, as each client has individual requirements and challenges. After a systematic onboarding by experienced colleagues, you will independently take over the conception and quality assurance in the planning of electrical systems and installations in the building sector and thus support the commissioned specialist planners as a consultant.

• Project management in the field of electrical building equipment for medium and large projects as support on the client side and consultant
• Supporting the overall project managers TGA or project management in holistically evaluating electrical specialist planning in all HOAI phases and identifying planning, quality, and interface gaps as well as showing optimization potentials
• Reviewing calculations, designs, and technical concepts of electrical systems under guidance with appropriate tools after prior onboarding
• Accompanying planning and project meetings including documentation of results
• Developing sustainable and innovative electrical concepts for new construction, renovation, and refurbishment projects in the team, e.g., in the form of economical planning specifications or system planning
• Identifying potential added value for all project participants such as clients, users, investors, operators, and planners
• Participating in innovative fields such as Smart Building, BIM, Lean, sustainable building concepts, and other innovative service areas after appropriate training
• Independently handling project tasks and projects as well as actively further developing technical focal topics

Qualifications

Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, electrical systems, electrical building equipment, or a technician degree in a comparable field

Relevant professional experience in the planning or consulting or execution of electrical systems in the building context

Great interest in quality assurance, sustainable electrical building equipment, as well as energy-efficient, economical, and future-proof buildings

Quick comprehension, combined with analytical and networked thinking

Solution-oriented negotiation skills as well as a good sense for people and facts
