Tasks & responsibilities

• You will operate, maintain and continuously improve SAP Solution Manager, with a focus on change and request management (ChaRM), custom code management, test management and ALM processes.
• Supporting system upgrades, process optimization and implementation of new ALM capabilities will also be part of your role.
• As IT Business Consultant, you will also manage external vendors.
• Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver stable and compliant ALM services.
• You will contribute to the evaluation, adoption and integration of SAP Cloud ALM.
• Finally, you will help define the future ALM roadmap and support the transition from SAP Solution Manager to Cloud ALM.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable discipline or a Bachelor's degree with more relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience as IT Business Consultant, SAP Consultant or in a similar role with strong experience with customization of SAP Solution Manager, especially Change and Transport Management (ChaRM); development skills are a plus.
• Good understanding of Application Lifecycle Management processes and SAP operations.
• Experience working in a GxP regulated computerized system environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM or a strong interest in helping shape its adoption and future direction.
• Strong communication skills, ownership mindset and ability to work in an international environment.
• Experience working with Jira is required, experience working with ServiceNow is an advantage.
• Very good written and spoken English language skills as well as advanced German language skills are necessary.
