Job Description

About Manifesto

Manifesto group is a hospitality group behind some of the most vibrant food hall and bar concepts in Berlin and Prague. Our portfolio includes Manifesto Market, Soot bar, and Himitsu Speakeasy; each offering a unique blend of design, food, and entertainment experiences. We operate high foot traffic places people love, and we are looking for team members who want to help shape what's next.

We aim to improve people's lives and neighbourhoods with our collection of creative hospitality brands, using food experiences to create places where restaurateurs' businesses can thrive. We pride ourselves on bringing different types of people together, powered by good food and events.

As a company, we are building diverse and high-performing teams who are interested in creating a better and tastier world. We care about growing healthier careers and lives. If you care about those things, this company is for you.

Job Overview

As Head of Marketing & Events, you will own the marketing strategy and public event programme for our markets in Berlin and Prague. Based at our Prague headquarters, you will lead a marketing team split across both cities and define a distinct strategy for each market, driving foot traffic, brand awareness and guest engagement.

You will shape how each market looks, sounds and feels, from digital channels and graphic design to the public events that bring guests through our doors. You will work closely with the Head of Sales, the market operations teams and the leadership team to make sure marketing supports both footfall and commercial growth.

Location: Prague HQ, with regular travel to Berlin

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach and develop the marketing team across Berlin and Prague, including content, graphic design and event coordination. Set clear priorities, goals and ways of working across both cities.
  • Brand Management: Maintain and strengthen the identity of each brand through consistent messaging, visual identity and guest experience.
  • Graphic Design & Creative: Oversee the creative output for all channels, from digital assets to in-market signage and print materials, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee all digital marketing, including websites, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM and paid advertising, to grow online visibility and engagement.
  • Content: Guide the content team to produce compelling content for social media, newsletters, blog articles and offline promotional materials.
  • Public Events: Own the public event programme in both markets, from concept and planning to promotion and evaluation, to attract visitors and create reasons to come back.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Build partnerships with restaurant partners, local businesses, influencers, brands and organisations to amplify reach and attract new audiences.
  • Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the Head of Sales to support private events and corporate sales with marketing materials, campaigns and brand positioning.
  • Market Research: Analyse consumer trends, guest behaviour and the competitive landscape in each city to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Budget Management: Build and manage the marketing and public events budgets for each market, allocating resources effectively and meeting financial targets.
  • Performance & Reporting: Set KPIs, track campaign and event performance, and report regularly to leadership with insights that shape future plans.
  • On-site Presence: Spend regular time in both markets, working with the operations teams to make sure marketing initiatives and events fit the guest experience on the ground.
