Con financiamiento aprobado por la agencia Corena para la Colaboración Internacional (KOICA), el PMA ejecuta el proyecto “Fortalecimiento del sistema alimentario local para mejorar la seguridad alimentaria y la nutrición en las provincias orientales”. Este proyecto propone:
Con esta contribución se apoyarán prioridades del Plan Estratégico de PMA Cuba. Se contribuirá a la diversificación de la producción y disponibilidad de productos alimentarios locales (lo que reducirá el nivel de las importaciones de alimentos) y se ofrecerán incentivos económicos a los agricultores, que tendrán acceso a mercados diversificados.
Tomando en consideración el actual contexto económico y social cubano y las enseñanzas del proceso de formulación de los programas del PMA en Cuba, y con el fin de contar con un análisis estratégico para las acciones de fortalecimiento de conocimientos, hábitos y prácticas a realizar dentro del proyecto, se hace necesario realizar un proceso participativo de determinación de las necesidades prioritarias de fortalecimiento.
Para ello se ha diseñado un proceso que consiste en de:
Específicamente, el segundo punto se enfoca en diseñar y apoyar la implementación de estrategias municipales y planes de gestión del conocimiento - construidos en base a una formación metodológica y práctica en Estrategias de Gestión del conocimiento - teniendo en cuenta en los objetivos del proyecto y la sostenibilidad de las inversiones a nivel local.
