Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC), is a global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Department of State (DoS), that provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to achieve HIV epidemic control among all at-risk populations; strengthen global health security (GHS), including outbreak response; expand tuberculosis detection and treatment (TB), improve maternal and child health (MCH), address malaria; and promote health systems strengthening (HSS) including supply chain management.
Performs accounting functions and conducts the theory and practice of recording, classifying, examining and analyzing data and records of financial transactions. Reviews and consolidates Country Office financials on a monthly basis. Processes and records journal entries, cash receipts/field cash management and wire payments. Responds to inquiries and assist in trainings. Maintains general ledger accounts and supporting sub-ledgers and produces various accounting reports. Participates in various accounting projects including external or internal audits, system upgrades, changes to accounting processes or procedures and other projects as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent - Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Related Field
Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting firm or a large company. Proficiency in spreadsheet software required. Must demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Prior team lead experience preferred. Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO).
Typical office environment. Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.
Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft applications (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment.

The expected hiring salary range for this role is COP 73,000,000 - 90,000,000 for annual basic salary for national local hire. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, market pay, and budget. For internal candidates, salary placement will also follow FHI 360’s current promotional increase guidelines.
