Job Description

Overview

Reporting to the Talent Lead, the Talent Acquisition Associate will provide hands-on support across recruitment and talent acquisition activities for both the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Group-level roles.

The role will be split approximately 50% supporting DRC recruitment and 50% supporting Group recruitment.

Role Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing assistance, CV screening, shortlisting support, and interview coordination
  • Supporting recruitment delivery for DRC-based roles and Group-level roles across multiple markets
  • Assisting with candidate sourcing through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases
  • Supporting the preparation of shortlists and candidate summaries for review by the Talent Lead
  • Coordinating interviews and supporting communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment data and candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Supporting recruitment tracking, reporting, and status updates
  • Providing general administrative and operational support to the Talent Lead on talent acquisition activities

Requirements for the Role

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or be in your final year of study) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • A strong interest in talent acquisition and recruitment
  • The ability to assess CVs against defined role requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Residency in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Desired Skills

  • Exposure to recruitment or HR through internships or academic projects
  • Experience using LinkedIn or recruitment platforms
  • Understanding of recruitment in emerging markets or multi-country environments
  • Fluency in French with working proficiency in English
