Who you are:

Develop and coordinate the unit. Responsible for securing that the unit meets short to mid-term goals and customer expectations. Actively work with operational interfaces, communicate and coordinate.

About the job:

Responsible for the performance and output of the unit, including financial responsibility. Set and follow up targets for the unit, broken down from factory level. Drive the development of the unit. Responsible for:

• safety of the people, processes and manufactured/delivered products
• quality + Q-system
• delivery
• cost
• Secure Standardized work & SOP
• Participate in making the Operational plan
• Make costing update for the unit
• Support and initiate supplier development activities together with support functions
• Support Problem Solving & Improvement activities
• Understand and deal with the real problems of the unit by being present
• Involved in new product development and give input to EPD (Existing Product Development)
• Secure the result of Continuous Improvement activities in the unit, including Lean Six Sigma and 5S
• Perform audits according to ALPS
• Responsible for that Supply chain processes within the unit are implemented and maintained

What you know:

Bachelor’s degree of Engineering or equivalent experience. 3 years Leadership and management skills and experience. 5-10 years of experience from production/manufacturing company. Experience from improvement tools, e g 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen. Project work experience.
