Head of Quality, Electronics China

YOUR TASKS

As the Quality Head of Electronics China in Hella Group, you are responsible for the quality topics in the full lifecycle of all product segments. In the meanwhile, as one critical pillar of leadership team, you will join us and drive the transformation journey together for future bigger business success.

• Take responsibility for all quality topics in the full product lifecycle of all Product Centers/Product Segments from development, launch, series, escalation handling, and continuous improvement, and ramp-down, etc.
• Drive all quality management activities, including monitoring of quality performance, recognition of quality problems, development of solution approaches as well as initiation and effectiveness control of corrective measures in order to achieve the “Zero Error Goal”.
• Implement and enhance the HELLA quality system, coordinate and implement global quality related actions to secure competitiveness, ensuring knowledge transfer from quality issues in production to product and process development.
• Monitor quality KPIs, drive improvement measures for target achievements, and regularly report to the executive management about KPIs and trends.
• Coach and lead the quality development teams in all locations of China, driving continuous team development and talent pipeline to meet the business growth and challenges.
• Collaborate hand-in-hand with customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards compliant with Hella system and strive to be the industrial benchmark.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in engineering, quality management or a related field
• More than 10 years of professional experience in quality management of engineering and production environments, ideally in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, audit procedures, customer specific quality requirements and continuous improvement
• Professional leadership skills and experience in intercultural communication and strategic thinking
• Fluent in English
