Job Overview:

Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

This role manages a team of professionals who work independently and routinely exercise sound judgment in their responsibilities. The position oversees employees performing a broad range of tasks within a function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and functional standards. The manager interprets and applies policies and priorities to meet performance and service expectations, while overseeing the effective use of all assigned resources. Responsibilities may also include contributing to short-term planning and budget decisions. This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and day-to-day operational management. Experience Required:

Professionals in this role typically have 5–8 years of experience, including proven management of professionals who work independently. Experience should include strategic oversight of teams, resource planning, and functional alignment with business goals. The M3 manager should be comfortable handling performance management, interpreting policies, and supporting budget or planning activities.
