About BASIS International School Guangzhou

Set in the Science City suburb of Guangzhou, BASIS International School Guangzhou opened in 2017 as our second campus in China, and the first to offer a week-day boarding program. The school celebrated its first graduating class in 2021 and has enjoyed many great successes both at home and abroad in arts and academics, including a 1st place finish in the global round of the National Economics Challenge. As a Biology teacher, you build upon this strong foundation, teaching topics such as the scientific process, cells, microbiology, heredity, plant and animal physiology and function, classification, and ecology. You incorporate student-guided lab experiences to further enhance student understanding.
