Intermediate electrical designer (3-7 years of experience)

Your future role on our team

You’ll join our team specialized in designing and implementing electrical and interdisciplinary projects. You’ll work with experts and will be exposed to different situations to develop your technical skills to design electrical rooms, conductor ducts, MV and LV switchgear, SPAT, lighting systems, electrical substations and control systems for various industrial, mining and renewable energy clients.

As an Intermediate Electrical Designer, you’ll help develop engineering projects and technological solutions and implement projects in the mining, energy and heavy industry sectors. With us, you’ll get the opportunity to...

• Participate in conceptual and detailed engineering studies
• Actively participate in developing designs (2D and 3D)
• Perform design calculations
• Prepare cable and material lists according to codes, standards, drawings and other BBA quality system requirements
• Eventual assistance in onsite construction
• Eventual participation in commissioning and troubleshooting systems

Summary of certifications and job requirements

• Electrical technician or electrical engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience
• Proficient with Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD software (Smart 3D desirable)
• Knowledge of BIM methodology
• English is required
• French is desirable (not exclusive)
