Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the individual in this position will support and take responsibility for the Truth and Reconciliation initiatives at St. Boniface Hospital. They will work closely with SBH’s Executive and Human Resources department and collaborate with sponsors and incorporate the learnings and feedback from the hospital’s Truth and Reconciliation task force.
The Truth and Reconciliation & Recruitment Specialist will support the organization in increasing the representation of Indigenous staff across the hospital. By liaising with Human Resources, post-secondary institutions and community partners, this role will serve as a critical role in ensuring that our workforce is more representative of the people we serve.

Note: The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Indigenous relations, engagement social accountability and or human rights.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources; or have the relevant skills in combination with Indigenous cultural experience.
