Your Impact

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will serve as the primary banking advisor for a portfolio of mid-market commercial clients. You will develop long-term relationships with business owners and executives while delivering financial solutions aligned with their growth ambitions.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and deepen a portfolio of strategic commercial clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business owners, presidents, and chief financial officers.
• Identify business opportunities and develop growth strategies tailored to the South Shore market.
• Structure complex financing solutions, including commercial lending, cash management, and specialized banking solutions.
• Collaborate with BMO experts to deliver an integrated approach that meets clients' evolving needs.
• Represent BMO within the business community and strengthen our presence among regional companies.

What You Bring

• Approximately 7 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, portfolio management, or business development.
• Significant experience in commercial financing or relationship management within a financial institution.
• Proven success in business development and commercial portfolio management.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and structure credit solutions.
• An established network or strong interest in developing the Montreal South Shore market.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and a strong client focus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered. Credit-related qualifications are an asset.

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
