The Resource Management team is part of KPMG’s National Audit & Assurance Resource Management Team, leading initiatives that centralize, standardize and automate processes to effectively deploy resources in support of high quality, efficient audits.

This is a part time position.

What you will do

• Lead and oversee Resource Management operations by coaching the GEO Resource Management Team, driving consistency in the application of National Resource Management policies and processes, managing resource allocation, resolving scheduling and resource conflicts, and partnering with stakeholders to balance business priorities and client needs.
• Manage the System of Quality Management (SoQM) control framework by documenting and maintaining key controls, coordinating with Leadership and the National SoQM team on process updates, planning and executing controls testing, evaluating control effectiveness, documenting findings, and monitoring remediation activities to ensure compliance with Firm quality standards and governance requirements.
• Monitor workforce capacity and business performance by partnering with Leadership on monthly and annual headcount planning, producing utilization, capacity, forecast, and variance reporting, identifying trends and risks, and providing recommendations to support strategic resource planning and operational decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement of Resource Management tools and processes by supporting enhancements to national systems and reporting, participating in testing and implementation activities, identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and operational efficiency, and promoting best practices across the GEO.

What you bring to the role

• 7+ years of Resource Management, Workforce Optimization or other related experience.
• 5+ years of Audit Experience.
• Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
• Strong relationship building skills with experience in engaging leaders at all levels and partnering with internal teams.
• An agent of change, you are open minded, practical and agile with change and effectively manage pressure.
• Ability to work and navigate effectively in a matrix organization/partnership structure.
• Strong computer skills, Power BI, MS word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with resource forecasting tools is an asset.

KPMG Ontario Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 (annually) and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
