Ingram Micro is looking for an Afternoon Operations Supervisor to lead our outbound team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations and supervise activities for assigned team to meet productivity, quality goals, and client objectives.
• Supervise and lead a team of hourly associates directly to ensure KPIs, productivity targets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Assists in implementation of, and adherence to, company objectives, policies and plans.
• Evaluates site operations with respect to quality standards, safety standards, and customer support. Understands ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 and 270001: 2022 standards, as well as principles of Lean.
• Communicates effectively with partner, customers, and site associates.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks based on volumes, labour requirements, and operational priorities.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity while providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Ensure all associates operate equipment and perform tasks safely and in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, proper product handling, and adherence to inventory control procedures.
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company housekeeping and audit standards.
• Support employee relations activities including performance management, disciplinary actions, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• 3 to 5 years of shift supervisor experience is a requirement
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, productivity management, and health and safety practices.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
• Ability to analyze operational data and KPIs and take appropriate action to improve performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and crouch
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Overtime may be required during peak season and quarter/ month ends.

The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is $72,000 -82,000 CAD per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual starting base pay across all of Canada for all roles. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, including work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This role is for an existing vacancy and will not use AI for screening applicants.
