This Manager, Information Technology role is a highly visible enterprise-wide position focused on IT governance, technology controls, and financial reporting assurance. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technology audit and financial audit expertise, with a mandatory CISA designation and experience leading IT audit engagements, preferably within a Big Four or large consulting/accounting firm environment. This individual will assess IT General Controls (ITGCs), automated controls, third-party risk, SOC reports, and audit findings that impact financial reporting, while partnering with stakeholders across Canada, the U.S., and international business units. Success in this role requires the ability to independently lead audit, influence senior leaders, and translate technical concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations for non-technical audiences, at various leadership levels. The position offers broad exposure across the bank's technology landscape, providing insight into major initiatives, system transformations, vendor management, and emerging technology risks, while serving as a trusted advisor on governance, controls, compliance, and risk management. CPA designation, and COSO framework knowledge are considered strong assets.
The IT Manager plays an important role in the organization by performing a variety of activities directly related to the Financial Governance across the Bank. The role is responsible for providing ongoing support of IT governance and controls, and Third-party risk. You will assess and report on IT General Controls, Automated Controls and SOC reports to support Internal Controls over Financial Reporting. If you come from a medium to large accounting firm and have IT testing and audit experience, you may be the ideal candidate for this role. Come join us in our purpose to boldly grow the good, in business and in life.
