Position Details

The Dealer Care Associate will be responsible for handling all administrative tasks for Originations. This includes but is not limited to Custom Program Creation, Document Review and proof of income verification, incoming and outgoing phone calls for both Credit and Funding, Dealer inboxes. The incumbent will need to be able to review files and make decisions to approve, condition or decline based on documents received. They will also need to liaise with dealers and BDMs to resolve more complicated applications. Applicants must be available to work rotational shifts within the following hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST, and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process Calls for Credit and Funding from our Dealer Partners, BDMs and Customers; Build relationships to foster trust
• Review AML documents and perform extra due diligence on documents for deals that are deemed higher risk
• Review Credit Inbox and memos, including, but not limited to document verification, proof of income verification and custom programs
• Review Funding inbox, including but not limited to, BDM requests and manual uploads; Action aged held offerings
• Back up for Credit or Funding Q; help with translations
• Perform any other ad hoc requests as required

Work Experience

• 1+ years’ experience as a Credit Administration assistant
• Thorough funding and loan documentation knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of the credit/review process and credit analysis
• FiServ/Defi knowledge a plus or knowledge of automated credit decision system(s)
• Thorough knowledge of compliance laws as related to retail consumer lending, contracting and funding

Education & Certification

• High school diploma required
• College Diploma or University degree preferred

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Relationship building skills with both internal and external customers
• Team building and collaborative skills
• Ability to assist in training on new hire credit analysts
