Join Microsoft as a Solution Engineer | Apps & AI, where you’ll help startups, digital natives, and fast-moving customers’ developers solve complex challenges and build the next generation of intelligent applications and platforms. As a technical leader, you will influence technology strategy of chief product & technology officers, top developers and engineers across AI native organizations.

You'll work directly with technical founders, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders to architect platforms that support AI workloads and business-critical applications at scale. Success in this role requires technical depth, executive presence, customer influence, and business acumen. You'll bring deep expertise in building, migrating, and optimizing core workloads—including Kubernetes services and Azure API Management—with particular attention to the elasticity, cost efficiency, and time-to-market demands of Digital Native and ISV businesses.

You will lead high-impact customer engagements from early AI vision and architecture through proof-of-concept validation, production deployment, and scaled adoption. Across Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, Power Platform, Azure Machine Learning, and modern application development platforms, you will help customers unlock new business models and accelerate digital transformation.

You'll guide application modernization using the 6R framework, containerization best practices, AKS, Arc, and trusted Azure partner solutions, while applying AI and intelligent agents to accelerate legacy transformation and product development securely and at scale. You'll have the opportunity to grow your technical expertise through Microsoft's learning resources, including support for industry-recognized certifications across Azure infrastructure, security, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales through demos, proofs of concept, and architecture accelerators to influence solution design and enable production deployments.
• Help customers validate technical assumptions by writing working code and prototyping MVPs.
• Lead architecture sessions and technical workshops with technical decision makers and founders to accelerate Azure adoption.
• Build trusted relationships with platform and engineering leads to co-design secure, scalable, multi-tenant solutions.
• Influence technical and business decision-makers by articulating solution value, technical strategy, architecture recommendations, and long-term transformation roadmaps.
• Resolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering and channeling customer insights back into the product.
• Maintain deep, current expertise in AI-assisted development tools, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native development, migration, resiliency, security, compliance, and emerging AI and industry trends to maximize customer innovation opportunities.
• Stay current on emerging AI technologies, modern application development trends, cloud innovation, and industry insights to maximize customer innovation opportunities.
• Represent Microsoft in customer forums and technical communities through thought leadership.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding Cloud Services such as Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud services, including security, compliance, and hybrid cloud scenarios.
• Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders to design and deploy scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise building proofs of concept and MVPs for agentic AI solutions, including AI agents, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, MCP, orchestration frameworks, multi-agent architectures, prompt engineering, knowledge grounding, conversational AI, and intelligent automation.
• Experience architecting, deploying, and operating enterprise AI-powered applications in production, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, observability, governance, security, and responsible AI.
• Ability to create and explain three-tier, system-context, and system-interaction diagrams for cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Brazilian Portuguese and English.

Additional or preferred qualifications

• 5+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
• Proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Spanish.
