Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Security to lead security operations for a leading luxury jewellery company in Bahrain. The role will oversee the protection of employees, customers, jewellery inventory, high-value assets, and facilities while ensuring effective risk management, loss prevention, emergency preparedness, and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior security management, preferably within jewellery, luxury retail, precious metals, or other high-value asset environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect people, assets, inventory, and facilities.
• Lead and manage security personnel, ensuring effective deployment, supervision, and performance.
• Oversee physical security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control, alarms, and perimeter protection.
• Conduct security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement preventive measures.
• Manage loss prevention activities, theft investigations, security incidents, and internal security procedures.
• Develop and maintain emergency response, crisis management, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, external security providers, and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, safety requirements, and internal security standards.
• Conduct regular security audits, inspections, and reviews of security systems and procedures.
• Develop and deliver security awareness and emergency preparedness training.
• Manage security budgets, vendors, resources, and operational reporting.
• Monitor emerging threats and continuously improve security processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in security management, including several years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in physical security, loss prevention, risk assessment, incident investigation, and crisis management.
• Experience protecting high-value assets, jewellery, precious metals, luxury goods, or premium retail facilities is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing security teams and multiple locations.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other electronic security solutions.
• Experience in business continuity planning, emergency response, and disaster recovery.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Relevant professional security certifications are an advantage.
