As the site continues to modernize through significant investments and transformation initiatives, Safety, Health, Environment & Sustainability (SHE&S) remains a critical enabler of operational excellence and sustainable growth.

As Associate Manager, Operational SHE & S, you will play a key role in strengthening the safety culture across our manufacturing site. You will work closely with managers and operators to promote safe behaviors, facilitate learning from incidents, and ensure SHE&S standards are implemented consistently in day-to-day operations. Through your coaching, guidance, and visible presence in the field, you will help create an engaged, proactive, and safety-first culture while supporting the site's journey toward operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the deployment of our HSE culture and behavioral safety programs (SafeStart, Life Saving Rules, safety campaigns).
• Lead and coordinate safety observations, near-miss reporting and follow-up actions.
• Facilitate incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
• Deliver HSE onboarding and support the development of employee HSE competencies.
• Coach teams and managers in applying HSE standards and best practices.
• Monitor operational HSE performance indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a strong field presence and act as a trusted partner for operations.

YOU BRING

• Master's degree in Engineering, Safety, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience and passion for building a strong safety culture and driving operational excellence.
• Knowledge of incident investigation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience within chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing environments is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive sustainable behavioral change.
• Strong training and knowledge-transfer skills, with the ability to engage and develop others.
• Fluency in English and French.
