Programmed Facility Management is seeking a Village Managers to join our team at Anglo Tropicana, a FIFO village delivering services to our client AngloGold.

As Village Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of camp operations, while working closely with the client and your team to create a safe, welcoming and high-performing environment.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Village Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Tropicana Gold Mine village.

You'll be joining a recently mobilised operation, giving you the opportunity to influence how the operation runs, develop your team and embed the standards and culture expected across the village, working with another strong, established back to back village manager.

You will oversee the full range of camp operations, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently while maintaining a strong focus on resident experience and client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing overall leadership and management of the village operation
• Leading, supporting and developing a team
• Governance of operational processes, procedures and standards
• Building a positive team culture from the ground up
• Managing day-to-day camp operations across accommodation, airport, catering, cleaning, facilities, retail and other village services
• Maintaining strong relationships with the client and key operational stakeholders
• Ensuring contractual and service delivery requirements are consistently met
• Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance
• Managing workforce requirements, rosters and day-to-day team performance
• Responding to resident feedback and ensuring a high level of customer service
• Managing operational issues and providing practical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensuring the village is maintained to a high standard and is ready to meet the needs of the workforce
• Supporting reporting, audits, inspections and compliance requirements
• Working collaboratively with Programmed's wider operational and support teams

ABOUT YOU

This role will suit an experienced Village Manager who enjoys leading people, solving problems and building strong operational foundations.

You will be comfortable working in an environment where processes are established and will have the confidence to make decisions, take ownership and bring people with you.

To be successful, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Village Manager or in a similar senior camp management role (Essential)
• Previous experience managing FIFO or remote village operations
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills
• The ability to establish processes and standards in a new operation
• Strong commercial and operational awareness
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong relationships with your team and stakeholders
• A strong commitment to safety, compliance and service delivery

REQUIRED

• Current C Class Driver's Licence (Manual)
• Food Safety Supervisor

• First Aid and CPR
• RSA
• Approved Managers
• Aerodrome Reporting Officer
